Official MotoGP App for Android, Blackberry, Java and Other Mobile Platforms Coming Next Month


The new season of the world’s premier motorcycling championship already kicked off earlier this month, with the initial game played in Doha, Qatar on April 15th. While Dorna Sports has already released the MotoGP Live Experience app for iOS and Android devices, enthusiasts who have been desperately waiting to get their hand’s on the Game’s Official mobile app, will finally be able to do so. Mobile games publisher Connect2Media has announced that it’s signed a deal to publish and distribute this year’s official MotoGP game for mobile devices.

The app will be available next month for selected Android, BlackBerry, Java and other mobile device (iOS has not been mentioned, yet). It will keep fans appraised with all the action from the circuit, featuring all of the official riders and bikes from the 2012 MotoGP season. Both the game’s riders and their bikes will have sponsor logos and liveries from the 2012 season.
For those not familiar with MotoGP World Championship, it’s a real-life, 8 month bike racing series, with 18 races held across a number of different countries, including Qatar, Spain, Portugal, France, Catalunya, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, U.S, Indiana Polis, Czech Republic, San Marino, Aragón, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, and Valencia.
