Transform The Look Of Your Android Phone To JellyBean With These Free App [TIP]

Jelly Bean, the latest version of Android, has brought about a dozen of visual and thousands of non-visual improvements to Android, ranging from the improved Search a.k.a., Google Now to new animations, keyboard, lock-screen and much more.
But if you’re still stuck on older versions of Android, when almost two months have passed since the announcement of Jelly Bean, here’s something for you — a short guide to transform your Android into Jelly Bean.

Jelly Bean lockscreen for Froyo, Gingerbread and ICS1. Jelly Bean Lock-screen

Holo Locker is a perfect replica of Jelly Bean’s lock-screen. It’s a standalone, simple and fast app with has support for landscape mode as well. However, it doesn’t feature any security lock. It supports Froyo (2.2) and newer versions of Android.

2. Jelly Bean Launcher

Holo Launcher is another great app from the maker of Holo Locker. It’s a simple, but highly customizable launcher based on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich launcher, which can run even on Android 2.2 Froyo!
Apart from replicating the basic functions of the ICS launcher, Holo Launcher also features gestures, different scrolling transition animations, customizable grid, hiding apps, etc.

A couple of Jelly Bean themes for Go launcher are also available on the market, which you can check out in-case you don’t wish to ditch your favorite launcher.

3. Google Now

The process of installing Google Now, however, is not as easy as other applications, but shouldn’t take more than five minutes. Also, it requires your phone to be rooted.

Jelly Bean Wallpapers app brings all the wallpapers straight from Android 4.1 as a standalone wallpaper app. To use it, simply menu on a home-screen and choose wallpaper. Next, choose Jelly Bean and you will be presented with a list of 10 different wallpapers

5. Status Bar

This app, Jelly Bean StatusBar, overlays your status bar with a custom Jelly Bean themed status bar, which is highly customizable. It can also be configured to block certain apps from showing notifications, gesture support, etc.

6. Keyboard, Camera, and Gallery

A developer who goes by the name Johntanmi has ported it for Android 2.3 Gingerbread and 4.0 ICS devices:

Meanwhile, the changes received by camera and Gallery app in Jelly Bean are next to none as compared to their ICS counter-part apart from a new gesture in camera to quickly access the gallery. Anyway, to get an almost JB-esque experience you can get these two apps from the Play Store as well:
Play Store: Camera ICS | Gallery ICS

7. Transition Animations

Okay, this is something that might not be available for every device. It’s not even an application that you can simply install on any phone. Jelly Bean features some cool window transition animations, but the only way to have it on your phone is to head over to XDA, navigate to your phone specific section and look for threads titled as “Jelly Bean Animations” or something similar.

Those threads will contain a flash-able zip that you can flash on your phone using ClockWorkMod.
I’m sure it should be available for a lot of other phones as well.
