Rockstar have announced that Max Payne will be leaping, dodging and diving his way on to Android on April 26th.
Like GTA 3, Max Payne Mobile is a complete port of the PC classic, with only a handful of tweaks made for touchscreen play. Rockstar claim the game now has full HD textures - which considering the age of the title suggests that a lot of the ingame art has had a resolution bump for the release.
Rockstar's social hub for DLC and multiplayer content, Social Club has also been implemented.
Device compatibility hasn't been announced as yet, but it's very likely to be a similar list to that of GTA III, although we'd hope for ICS support at launch this time.
